CLC announces new mission, vision and values

Central Lakes College is pleased to announce an enhanced mission, vision and values.

As part of engaging in a strategic planning process, the college took a deep look into the current mission, vision and values. This process was very well vetted through the hard work of a committee, which was comprised of staff, faculty and administration, as well as many rounds of campus-wide feedback. Through the process, the core mission of “We Build Futures” was reaffirmed, and the supporting missional statements were streamlined.

The refreshed verbiage will help bring the campus community closer together with a very pointed shared mission, vision and values that we can really get behind and work for, said CLC President Dr. Hara Charlier.

“We feel these new statements better represent us as a college and all of the important goals we are working toward,” she said. “I believe our new mission, vision and values will help guide us into the future.”

The Minnesota State Board of Trustees approved the changes at its recent meeting.
