CLC’s Faber appointed to LCCMR

Central Lakes College Natural Resources instructor Dr. William Faber was recently re-appointed to the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR).

Gov. Mark Dayton selected Faber for the four-year term.

“It is a real honor to be re-appointed by Governor Dayton for another 4-year term,” Faber said. “It is a great experience, both professionally and personally, and the opportunities and acknowledgement it brings to CLC, our Natural Resource program, and especially to our NR students, is of critical importance to me.”

The function of the LCCMR is to make funding recommendations to the legislature for special environment and natural resource projects, primarily from the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund. These projects help maintain and enhance Minnesota’s environment and natural resources.
