CLC Community Band to start rehearsals, looking for new members

The Central Lakes College Community Band will start rehearsals on Monday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in E471, the rehearsal hall of the CLC Brainerd Campus.  Area musicians are invited to join in on the fun.

Band membership is open to woodwind, brass and percussion players from high school juniors on up. Rehearsals are every Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. with a fall concert on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chalberg Theatre.

The CLC Community Band is starting its 24th year of creating great music. This summer the band traveled to Ireland and performed four concerts at the Blarney Castel, King John’s Castle, St Nicholas Church in Galway and the Malahide Castle in Dublin.
