Local businesswoman to speak at next Cultural Thursday

For the March 2 Cultural Thursday at CLC, local businesswoman Claudia Allene will present “One Woman’s Solo Journey Around the World” in the CLC Chalberg Theater at noon. It is very appropriate during Women’s History Month and a week before International Women’s Day that Claudia Allene speak about a woman pursuing her dreams and love of learning through travel and exploration.

Allene will speak about her amazing three-year journey and the safety of traveling solo around the world as a single woman.  What started out as a journey to allow her to process her mother’s death became an incredible journey of healing and adventure. Amazingly, Allene was able to visit 41 countries in three years of travel. She traveled from Southeast Asia thru Dubai to Eastern Europe, South Africa and South America. Come discover the many diverse cultures that embraced her!
