The World is Flat, Africa is Round
Brett and Georgianne Nienaber and Paul and Marianne Malloy presented images and informaton gathered during a trip to Rwanda. They spoke about the genocide wars of the 1990's, the death of gorilla researcher Dian Fossey, medical exams and treatment of 125 children at an orphanage and trek to 13000 feet on Karishimbi to view the Susa group of mountain gorillas.
Two Rwandans flash their smiles in a roadside greeting during the trip made by two Brainerd-area couples that resulted in medical aid and encounters with a rarely seen gorilla group.
