Resume

Greetings! I'm Kathryn and I work at Central Lakes College as a college lab assistant in math. Most of my time at work is spent in the math lab located in the ACE department (next to the gym). I also help in Fundamentals of Math and Introduction to Algebra classes.

I earned a Master in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. I did it all online and working full-time. I have also earned 18 graduate semester math credits so I can also teach at a community college. I was lucky enough to teach a couple lessons this past year. I am currently looking for a job teaching math.

Along with my math background I love to 'tinker' online. My favorite program is Macromedia Flash MX. Everything I do online is self-taught - mostly out of curiosity - the rest because 'I want to do that too!'.

If you would like to see my online portfolio, please go to: kathrynportfolio.us

Currently I am 'tinkering' around with Flash and Video. Look back again to see what I have done!

Past jobs have included being an Americore VISTA (translating German for Bosnian refugees) and two summers in the Minnesota Conservation Corps.

I am an alumni of:
Denfeld High School, Duluth, MN
Lake Superior College, Duluth, MN
University of Wisconsin, Superior, WI
Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, UT

Places I have lived:
Winona, MN
Breckenridge, MN
Fergus Falls, MN
Ely, MN
Duluth, MN
Roseville, MN
Brainerd, MN

Thanks for stopping by!
Kathryn
