CLC Employment Central Lakes College was created in 1995 by merging the liberal arts education offered by Brainerd Community College with the career training supplied by Brainerd/Staples Technical College. The college serves more than 4000 annually and offers liberal arts transfer education along with more than 60 career programs. The college's Business and Industry Center provides customized training and development assistance for a variety of enterprises. CLC has cultivated strong ties with K-12 as well as other regional partners in education and industry. The well-equipped, modern campuses in Brainerd and Staples attract quality faculty, staff and students. The College is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System.

Maintenance, Clerical, Technical and Professional Positions (Classified Positions) CLC is always seeking positive energetic instructors to teach various courses as needs arise on a temporary part-time basis. The positions are not benefit eligible and usually require a one semester (approximately 16 weeks) commitment. The classes are usually not web-based and require the faculty to teach in a classroom setting.
