Minnesota State Grant Deadline: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has to be received by the Federal Application Central Processor by the 30th calendar day of your first semester each year.

2009-10 School Year
Fall Semester 2010 - September 22, 2009
Spring Semester 2010 - February 09, 2010
Summer Semester - June 30, 2010

Financial Aid Disbursement:  The Business Office is responsible for the distribution of a student's refund check.  Refer to your official award letter for information on how your financial aid gets applied to your student account or refer to the "Aid Disbursment" web page.

2009-10 School Year
Fall Semester - Wednesday, September 9, 2009  (November start Heavy Equipment Students - Tuesday, December 15, 2009) 
Spring Semester - Wednesday, January 27, 2010  (Heavy Equipment Students - Wednesday, March 3, 2010)
Summer Semester - Friday, June 18, 2010

Bookstore Charging:  If you have more than enough financial aid to cover your tuition and fees, you may visit with the Business Office about charging your books against your financia aid.  The Business Office will let you know how much is available for book charging.

2009-10 School Year
Fall Semester 2009 - August 10 through September 1, 2009 (November start Heavy Equipment - November 16 through December 4, 2009)
Spring Semester 2010 - December 28 through January 20, 2010 (Heavy Equipment - February 2 through February 24, 2010)
Summer Semester 2010 - May 24 through June 11, 2010

Total Withdrawal:  If you totally withdraw before the 60% point in the term: Federal Regulations require you to repay a portion of your financial aid based on the number of days you have NOT attended in the semester. Total withdrawal prior to the following dates will require you to repay a portion of your financial aid:

2009-10 School year
Fall Semester 2009 60% date - November 2, 2009
