Important Dates !

2008-09 School Year
Fall Semester - September 23, 2008
Spring Semester - February 10, 2009
 

If you totally withdraw before the 60% point in the term:  Federal Regulations require you to repay a portion of your
   financial aid based on the number of days you have NOT attended in the semester. 
   Total withdrawal prior to the following dates will require you to repay a portion of your financial aid:

2008-09 School year
Fall Semester 2008 60% date = November 3, 2008
Spring Semester 2009 60% date = March 30, 2009
 

Here's how it works: 
   When the Financial Aid Office gets ready to disburse financial aid (i.e. grants, scholarships or loans), the computer system records the number of credits you are registered for and adjusts accordingly any grant eligibility you may have.  Then the amount of financial aid you are eligible for is electronically transferred to your student account in the Business Office.  If you have a remaining balance of financial aid after your student account has been paid in any given term the date it is available is the disbursement date.

The Business Office is responsible for the distribution of a student's disbursement check.

Students with an incomplete financial aid file by the above dates will have a later date of disbursement.  A student eligible for grants could have a disbursement within a few days of a completed file.  If a student is eligible for student loans,
