Fall Semester Path Forward
We have modified the college building and services schedules, based on our Covid-19 mitigating strategies. With input and feedback from student leaders, faculty and staff, and the advice or our pandemic team, the following changes will take place as indicated below. The College is committed to taking all necessary steps to protect the health and safety of our faculty, staff and students.

Support Services: Remainder of Fall Semester 2020
In order to reduce the number of people on campus, and continue to respond to student needs and department staffing challenges, most student-serving departments will transition to a model of limited, in-person hours:
Most departments will be staffed with at least one person, 8:00 am-12:00 pm Monday-Thursday. Friday services will be virtual.
Virtual services will be available 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday.
Welcome Centers & Testing/Assessment: In-Person Office Hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, Fridays Hours Virtual
Computer Commons: Office Hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Fridays 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Individual student appointments may be made with staff, as needed.
Instruction: Remainder of Fall Semester 2020
All liberal arts courses will move to distance learning. We will also not be able to open classrooms or have on-campus instruction for HyFlex and Live online courses. While this is difficult and disappointing, it is necessary. We appreciate your understanding and support.
In most cases, our technical courses and programs (Career and Technical Education and Customized Training programs) simply cannot continue without hands-on instruction. Therefore, safe, in-person instruction will continue in our technical programs, as long as COVID data permits. Of course, if faculty determine that distance learning can be used, program-specific changes can be made.
All COVID protocols and safety precautions must be maintained without exception (current lab sizes, precautions, etc. remain in effect).
