Career Studies & Psychology Instructor
Mary DeVahl is a familiar face to many at Central Lakes College. She began her career with the college in 1987 working as an advisor /advocate for single parents and non-traditional students. In 1995 she joined the CLC Counseling Department. Over the years she has helped thousands of CLC students identify, pursue and reach their academic and personal goals. During her years as a counselor she accumulated a wealth of experience working with students on personal issues, mental health and crisis counseling, career counseling and educational and transfer planning. The '13-'14 academic year brings a new and exciting challenge as she transitions into a new role as a full-time instructor, teaching courses in Psychology, Career Exploration and College Success.
