Prior to joining Central Lakes College, Jill worked as a Sales Manager for 18 years at Herberger’s Department Store. After joining Central Lakes College, she recruited underrepresented, low-income, first generation students within Todd, Wadena, and Cass Counties for 2 years.

Sue’s employment at Central Lakes College began as an academic advisor in the first TRIO Program at CLC in 2002. She has since been active in campus, state, regional and national advocacy for educational opportunity for first generation and low income students. Sue has served in several leadership roles including President of Minnesota TRIO Association.
Sue has her Bachelor in Arts Degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and completed Rehabilitation Counseling graduate coursework at Minnesota State University Mankato.
Sue believes that all students should have equal access to education and the supports needed to achieve their college degree. She enjoys working with students in developing a belief in their abilities and future opportunities as they complete their education.
