ACE Center

ACE’s mission is to help all CLC students achieve their academic potential by providing free tutoring. Tutors will help students identify their study strengths and weaknesses so they can develop effective approaches to studying for all General Education and Technical classes. Tutors also help with time management strategies, test preparation, readings skills, and paper writing.

We have a math tutor who works in the Math Lab and helps students with all of the different classes taught at CLC. It is run on a “drop-in” basis. We have a Computer lab that any CLC student can use. A tutor is available to help with computer problems and the computers can be used by all CLC students.

Where is the ACE Department located?
Staples: Enter main door, go right, past bookstore. It is the last office on right at end of hallway.

Brainerd: The ACE Department is located next to the gym. It is straight through door '4'.

What are the ACE department hours?
The Ace Department is open from 7 am – 5:00 pm on regular school days.

How do I sign up for tutoring?
We have a drop in service; please see the tutoring times located in multiple locations within the ACE center.

How much does it cost?
Tutoring in the ACE Department is free of charge for all enrolled CLC students.

How much tutoring will I get?
Please see the schedule for tutoring times. We will adjust the amount of time based on individual circumstances.
